    We are Singapore

Every year, the National Day Parade stands as a beacon of celebration for our nation. Embodying the theme ‘We are Singapore’, this year’s parade is a heartfelt homage to the everyday heroes that form the core of our identity. From a mix of classic NDP songs to poignant stories of extraordinary Singaporeans, the event is sure to resonate deeply with its audience.

    What’s New This Year?

Several exciting additions have been made to the parade:

    • Navy Divers Skydiving: Witness an NDP first, as Navy Divers from the Republic of Singapore Navy skydive directly into the bay, equipped in full diving gear. It’s like the iconic Red Lions, but with a twist!
    • Red Lions Take Flight: The crowd-favorite Red Lions are enhancing their drop this year by wearing winged suits for the first time, which will provide them increased agility during their descent.
    • RSAF50 Aerial Showcase: Commemorating 50 years of the Republic of Singapore Air Force, expect an unparalleled aerial display featuring over 20 RSAF aircrafts during the pre-parade and main event.

Timings for Aerial Displays and Fireworks

Do note that these times might be adjusted as we approach the parade day. Here’s a breakdown of the spectacular displays in the sky:

    • 5:45 – 5:50 pm: RSAF HERON Unmanned Aerial Vehicle performance. Though the HERON might be elusive to the naked eye, it’ll capture everything on screen!
    • 5:50 – 6:00 pm: RSN Navy Divers making their descent from the RSAF C130.
    • 6:00 – 6:10 pm: The celebrated RSAF Red Lions parachuting from Super Puma helicopters.
    • 6:55 – 7:15 pm: A series of aerial sequences including the State Flag Flypast and the RSAF 50 Aerial Flypast with a range of aircrafts. Notably, these aircrafts will appear from the left of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, providing a prime view for those at the floating platform.

Experience the sensation of being onboard during the RSAF Super Puma flypast!

    • 8:00 – 8:20 pm: A grand fireworks display, commencing after the National Pledge and Anthem ceremonies.

For families keen on experiencing the magic of NDP around Marina Bay, we hope this guide proves useful. Here’s to our nation’s pride and joy – Majulah Singapura!
